Sunscreen expiration date and shelf life

In general, it is recommended to use sunscreen within one year of opening.

If possible, I try to use it within one year from the date of manufacture and within six months after opening.

They say that if you don't use it quickly, its UV protection effectiveness decreases.

If you apply sunscreen that has expired, not only does its UV protection function decrease, but it may also spoil and actually be worse for your skin.

Therefore, when buying sunscreen, you should purchase a product with good performance rather than one with a large capacity.

It is best to avoid buying in bulk and stocking up from places like home shopping channels just because they are cheap.
