Preventing neck wrinkles

The neck has less subcutaneous fat and thinner skin than the face, making it prone to wrinkles. In particular, using a high pillow causes the head to bend excessively forward, leading to neck wrinkles.

 

The appropriate pillow height is about 6 to 10 cm from the floor to the hollow of the back of the neck when lying flat on your back facing the ceiling.

 

It is also a good idea to do stretches to prevent neck wrinkles. Tilting your neck back or pulling it up, down, left, and right tightens not only your neck but also your jawline, helping to prevent facial wrinkles as well.

 

Punching your mouth open and closed is also effective in preventing neck wrinkles by stretching the muscles that extend from the face to the neck.
