How to prevent nasolabial folds

This is a method to prevent nasolabial folds.

Nasolabial folds are long vertical indentations that run from both sides of the nose toward the mouth.

 

Smoking causes excessive use of the muscles around the mouth, making nasolabial folds more likely to form. Additionally, a habit of sleeping on your stomach or side can press on the cheeks and irritate wrinkled areas, potentially causing nasolabial folds to form or deepen.

 

To prevent nasolabial folds, it is best to refrain from smoking and sleep on your back, facing the ceiling. Additionally, when drinking water or beverages, avoid using straws and use bottles or cups with wide openings.
