Try applying it thinly using a spatula.

If you aren't satisfied with the coverage, it's okay to layer it. Just make sure to keep it thin.

It takes twice as long as patting it on with a cushion, but it definitely transfers less and lasts longer.

There might be specific foundations and sponges that work best with this, but since the application is generally smooth, I am using it without any issues!!!
