*Perfume Notes
1. What is a note?
Essential oils and fragrance components are classified into top notes, middle notes, and base notes according to their release stages.
It refers to the change in the scent of perfume over time after application.
In other words, the faster the scent dissipates, the more it belongs to the top notes, and the longer it lingers, the more it belongs to the base notes.
2. Top note
The scent impression from immediately after spraying the perfume until 15 to 30 minutes later is called the top note.
It evaporates quickly and disappears within 2 to 3 hours after spraying.
Since it is the first impression of the blend, it plays a very important role even if the scent longevity is weak.
3. Middle note
The stable state 30 to 60 minutes after spraying the fragrance is called the middle note.
It is also called the middle note, and it lasts for about 6 hours.
It serves to soften sharp edges, making it warm, round, and soft.
It has an intermediate scent, particle size, and evaporation rate compared to top and base notes.
Most essential oils are extracted primarily from flowers and leaves.
4. Bass note
Base notes, acting as a fixative, add depth to the blend and help the scent last for a long time.
A rich and deep scent is profound. Generally, it has a calming and relaxing effect.
The scent lasts for 10 hours to a week because of its slow evaporation rate, but if you remember the lingering scent even after it has completely disappeared, that is the scent of the base notes.
