I'm sharing some simple exercise tips for managing nasolabial folds.
I've been constantly bothered by my nasolabial folds, so I looked into some simple ways to manage them. Let's share them together!
- Moving the entire facial muscles
The face is also composed of various muscles. If you rarely show expressions and don't smile often, your facial muscles will gradually stiffen and deteriorate. Women in their 30s and older need to consciously exercise their faces because wrinkles continue to form and deepen. This helps maintain facial muscles, allows for a wider range of expressions, and ensures a natural smile. It is recommended to loosen your facial muscles whenever you remember by gently pinching your skin or moving them from side to side.
2. Making your cheeks puffy
You need to inflate both cheeks. Simply inflate the right cheek and the left cheek respectively. You can adjust the number of repetitions as appropriate, such as 10, 20, or 30 times.
3. Do the Ah, E, I, O, U exercises
Perform exercises around the mouth while repeating Ha, E, I, O, U. Doing this exercise stimulates the muscles around the mouth that are not usually used.
4. Do exercises to lift the corners of your mouth
Since most people usually keep a blank expression and droop the corners of their mouths, their faces sag and nasolabial folds become more pronounced. Doing exercises to lift the corners of your mouth can strengthen your cheek muscles and help prevent nasolabial folds. It is recommended to do an exercise where you lift the corners of your mouth for 5 to 10 seconds while making an "eun" sound.
5. Pushing out with the tongue
This is an exercise where you use your tongue to push in a circular motion from the upper gums to the lower gums. Please perform this exercise about 5 times in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction.
