Highlighter / Shading Tips from the Rich Mid-Face
Hello! This is Midosong, a member of the 4th Unna's Pouch Supporters 😄😄
As part of the Week 2 mission, I'm going to write about some great tips for highlighter and contouring!
As the title suggests, the ratio of my forehead, mid-face, and lower face 1:1:1.3 To the extent The chin and philtrum are long.
Peanut-shaped face with prominent cheekbones and jawbone I have.
As such, I tend to pay a lot of attention to highlighters and shading that can change the mood of my face shape.
The product I use is
1. Too Cool for School Art Class by Rodin - Classic
2. The Saem Saemmul Single Shadow Shimmer - Warning: May Make You Fall in Love White
3. The Saem Mineralizing Creamy Concealer - 1.25 Cream Latte
It is,
I'll share my highlighter and contouring tips using these three products!
Highlighter
💎 tip of the nose : Slightly above the actual tip of my nose Tap it to slightly lift the gaze that falls to the nose.
💎 inner corners of the eyes, between the eyebrows If you brighten the bridge of your nose with a long, straight line using highlighter
The nose may appear more prominent, making the mid-face look longer.
To prevent the gaze from stretching vertically The tip of the bridge of the nose in the center of the forehead Slightly brighten up,
To create a contrast effect on the eyes inner corners of the eyes Please reveal up to that point.
💎 jester For those without prominent cheekbones, it would be fine to brighten the area widely up to the cheekbones, but,
For those with prominent cheekbones, brighten only the area between the under-eyes and the tip of the nose.
Getting longer vertically widens your field of vision left and right It works!
The one I use The Saem Saemmul Single Shadow Shimmer This product is suitable for use as a nose tip highlighter, but,
For those who prefer a matte to semi-matte makeup look, using it on the cheekbones might be too much.
For such people, to create the so-called 'Vaseline glow'
- Glint Liquid Highlighter
- Hince True Dimension Radiance Bomb
Like Balm / Gel-type highlighter I recommend these products!
🤍 Shading - Nose
💎 From eyebrows to the center of the nose bridge You can make the starting point of the nose look higher by starting from the front of the eyebrows, but
It is an effect that is completely unnecessary for those with a rich mid-face!
Not in front of the eyebrow From below the eyebrows Starting and running down the bridge of the nose,
Please make the shading disappear under the eyes so that the bridge of the nose does not look too strong.
💎 tip of the nose : Darken the area around the highlighter with shading to further emphasize the bright tip of the nose.
In this case, if the tone is strongly toned down all the way to the sides of the nostrils, the volume of the nostrils may be emphasized, making the nose look wider.
Use concealer or highlighter on the boundary between the sides of the nose and the cheekbones. You can prevent your nose from standing out by loosening the edges!
I am Too Cool for School's Art Class by Rodin I am using .
Since it is a product consisting of three colors, it can be used on both the jaw and nose, and not only this product
- Peripera V-Shading
- Etude Shadow Shading
It consists of various colors natural gradient I think any product that can be used to make that would be great!
🤍 Shading - Chin
💎 chin I have a face shape with large cheekbones and jawbones, so I want to make sure my cheekbones don't stand out.
Without touching the clown Shading only along the jawline I am doing it for you.
Apply all three shades of Too Cool for School shading to the brush, and
Gently swirl the product down the chin so that the darkest color is applied towards the back (towards the ears and hair).
💎 Clown : The cheek is slightly sunken between the jaw and the cheekbone,
To fill this area, I used a concealer with a tone similar to my skin. right triangle shape Apply it.
Even among those whose cheeks have not sunken in Prominent cheekbones when smiling or shadows under the cheekbones This is a method that can be helpful if it is too severe!
I am using The Saem concealer to fill in the sunken areas of my cheeks below my cheekbones.
I think it doesn't matter which concealer you use as long as the tone matches!
I'll wrap up my first community post here!
I hope this post was helpful.
