Is everyone using their blush and highlighter well? Blush and highlighter are cosmetics with a double-edged nature; if used well, they look incredibly pretty and significantly elevate the quality of your makeup, but if used wrong, they can look very tacky and strange, and it is immediately obvious that you have applied them.

 

I also have a dark past from when I first started wearing makeup—I used to think that applying a lot and making it obvious meant I looked pretty and did a good job—so I know the dangers(?) of blush and highlighter better than anyone =͟͟͞͞\( ᐙ )/

In fact, Peach Moon is an all-purpose highlighter with a color that works for everyone—neutral tones, cool tones, and even non-warm tones...✨

 

Warm tone vs. Cool tone highlighters, which one should I buy!!😡

Makeup Beginner: Which highlighter should I use!!🥲

 

You can just discreetly show Peach Moon to your superiors. The color payoff isn't heavy, and the quantity is very generous. There is some powder fallout, but I would say it is on the lesser side compared to other products 🫡 The shine is so, so pretty, and the material doesn't fly off easily!! Also, the case is sturdy!! (I'm a Golden who always drops my makeup..🥲)

 

Here's a great tip ˃̵ ᴗ ˂̵✦✨

 

1. Do not apply it to the entire nose; apply only about the size of one finger joint to the bridge of the nose.

2. For the nostrils, apply a small amount to the brush and roll it continuously (do not if the area becomes too large).

3. Apply the remaining amount to the front part of the under-eye area (for a uniform look)

4. Apply below the eyebrows and on the cupid's bow (for a unified look)

 

Time, a recommended highlighter brush for niche areas (Olive Young item)

 

 

I recommend the FilliMilli Blending Brush for rolling around the sides of the nose,,✨ It makes creating pearls easy!!🤍

 

 

I recommend the Fillimilli 514 brush for applying to the aegyo sal!! It's great for small areas, and it's convenient for aegyo sal makeup even if you're not using highlighter!! (This is a true gem that I've bought a second time,,💜)

 

Cool-toned Highlighter: Holika Holika Shell Glow Highlighter 01 Aurora Nakr

 

 

Cool Tone: There are too many cool-toned highlighters!! I don't know which one to buy.

 

All cool-toned individuals should look up at Holika Holika Aurora Nakr. Since it comes in two shades, it is a great item for controlling the amount and color intensity!! This highlighter does have some fallout, but it is almost non-existent, so it is easy to use!!💙 The purple shimmer in the first highlighter is especially amazing,,✨ If you want a purple highlighter, I recommend the first shade, and if you prefer a whiter tone, I recommend the second shade✨ (The swatch in the photo is a mix of the first and second shades)

 

Next up is blush time!

 

 

A blush recommended for all beginners: Puy Blush Mellow 06 Baby Kiss

 

 

The advantage of this blush is its subtle and soft color..🩷 While I recommend this shade for Summer Cool and Spring Light skin tones, it is a blush I recommend to everyone as it is not heavily dependent on skin tone, including Cool and Muted tones!! The pigmentation is not intense but subtle, making it a versatile item with a low chance of messing up!!✨ (Especially recommended for beginners!!)

You can gently hand Baby Kiss to the people above. There is absolutely no powder fallout, and the color doesn't clump!! Also, since there is no powder fallout, you can store it cleanly!! (I'm someone who gets annoyed when my cosmetics are dirty..) The advantage is that it has a soft texture so it is easy to apply↗️ However, the fact that the wear and tear show through is...

It is a downside, though..🥲 Also, since Baby Kiss gives a subtle color even when applied with your fingers (it isn't very sensitive to the tool used), it is easier to try out :)

Blusher Tips✨

 

1. You don't necessarily have to apply it with a brush. If you apply it with a sponge, you can totally achieve a subtle inner glow blush!!

2. Applying it to the cheekbones will accentuate flaws. Apply it diagonally.

3. If applying with a brush, be sure to tap it three times. This prevents clumping and intense color payoff.

4. If you apply blush after your skin and before powder, it blends in with your base makeup and doesn't fade easily. Apply blush, then powder, and then apply blush one more time on top!!
