Saving Dried-out Mascara

Mascara dries out easily and has a short shelf life, so you really have to use it carefully. Still, if it's very old, you have to throw it away anyway. But if it's not that old—and it feels too wasteful to throw away—and it's already dried out or all clumped up, then it's time for CPR!!!

Just put one or two drops of saline solution in the mascara and shake it, and it will come back to life like new.

However, it is better for your skin and eye health to use up and throw away mascara you have saved like this as soon as possible. Use this when you are in a rush or don't want to waste it.
