From lipstick to lip balm, the pickiest girl's ✨BEST 3 Item Recommendations✨

Today, I’m going to introduce my three favorite lip products!

 

I'll introduce my absolute favorite items in each of the three categories: lipstick, tint, and lip balm. (Please look forward to it!)

I prefer unscented or light scents like mint rather than products with strong floral fragrances.

First, let me introduce my favorite lipstick!

 

🩷 Peripera Ink Mood Matte Stick #02 Pink Ttasang

 

This is a product I bought after testing it 200 times at Olive Young...

This is the lip product I brought home after carefully selecting it while I was in the middle of searching for a lip base for summer cool tones _(:3 」∠)_

Pink Ttasang is famous as a lip base for summer cool tones, so if you have a summer cool undertone, I'm sure many of you already know about it! (It's one of the two giants along with Romand Pink Sand and Clio Strawberry Pink… haha)

I tested it 200 times but really, really couldn't tell the difference, so I brought home the Peripera Pink Ttasang, which was the cheapest one lol 🥺

If you look at the color payoff, it claims to be pink, but… ^0^

It feels a bit too light and nude to wear on its own, so I use this as a base and layer another tint or lipstick on the inner part of my lips!

 

Some of you might wonder what's so important about a lip base, but I've definitely found that getting the base right makes the lips look much cleaner and the color look more even.😉

 

The application is a bit stiff and the staying power is short, though😭

The color is so delicate when used as a base, but it gives off a hip vibe when worn on its own, so it's my favorite lipstick these days🤍

Next, I’m going to introduce my favorite lip tint!

 

🩷3ce Blur Water Tint #FIRSTLETTER

 

I actually introduced this product once before in my daily makeup post.🥹

I hadn't had it for very long back then, but it’s a real gem that I’ve reached for consistently ever since, so I wanted to introduce it to you again.

First of all, I mentioned that I am on the borderline between Spring Warm and Summer Cool tones! This is a lip product that leans a little more towards the Spring Warm side!

I also own #PINKGUAVA from the same 3CE tint line; while that one has a bit more pink in it, you can consider #FIRSTLETTER to be a shade for warm undertones that also has coral undertones.🥺

 

They are both quite similar, but there is a clear distinction between warm and cool tones, so I use #PinkGuava when I want to add a little more pink, and #FirstLetter when I want to add coral, depending on the occasion!

 

The reason I want to recommend this tint is… (It’s moisturizing and matte…)

What I mean is, it feels moisturizing when applied, but becomes matte when it dries!!!!! (Phew phew)

There are quite a few lip products with this kind of matte on the outside, moist on the inside texture, but I really loved this 3ce Blur Water Tint because it “really doesn’t accentuate dry patches”!

It does wear off if you eat, but otherwise, it stays fine.🤍

The last product I’d like to introduce is none other than lip balm!

This is seriously my favorite lip balm that I use every single night before bed🥺🤍

 

🩷Mentholatum Medicated Lip Balm

 

I think there are probably some of you who know this product, and others who are hearing about it for the first time!

I was tempted to buy it at Don Quijote in Tokyo because it was less than 100 yen, but I fell in love with it... and it has become an item I consistently stock up on whenever I go to Japan.

I have tried various lip balms that are supposedly famous at places like Olive Young and E-mart, but I couldn't find the one I wanted anywhere...

 

It shouldn't be sticky

- The water shouldn't taste strange even if you drink it after applying this.

- Oil shouldn't float on the water, and the cup shouldn't be heavily stained.

- It must have a taste that isn't unpleasant when swallowed.

It needs to have enough hold to withstand a light touch.

 

It's tricky, isn't it..?^^

I really, really, really hate the taste of cosmetics in my mouth, so I use unscented products like hand cream, and I rarely wear perfume either.

 

And then! I discovered this lip balm with a matte texture, a refreshing feeling that lingers in the mouth after brushing, and great staying power… 🌿

No need to say more! It satisfies all the conditions I mentioned and is lightweight, so it has become an item I apply consistently every night before bed! It's also affordable; you can get it for around 1,000 won in Japan and 3,000 won in Korea 🤍
