How to make your hair color last longer!

Sadly, it is said that there is almost no way to maintain dyed hair color for a long time. When we dye our hair, we often bleach it beforehand to achieve a more vibrant color; however, the downside of bleached hair is that the color fades easily. Although bleaching is done to make it easier to apply color, the hair is damaged in the process, leaving it without the strength to retain the color.

 

Color-correcting shampoo is designed to prevent this very problem. It works by injecting a color between blue and purple—the complementary colors to the yellow of bleached hair—into the hair to neutralize the characteristic yellow tones of bleached hair. While there are blue-based and purple-based color-correcting shampoos available, experts advise that the purple-based version is easier for the average person to use.
