When is the best time to apply concealer—before or after foundation? 💄
One part that is surprisingly confusing when doing base makeup is the order of applying concealer.
If you use liquid foundation, you can reduce the appearance of it looking thick by applying a thin layer of regular foundation first and then covering any remaining blemishes with concealer.
Conversely, for products with a thick texture, such as stick or cream types, the order may be adjusted depending on the products being used and the makeup style.
For dark circles, it looks more natural to apply a small amount to the necessary areas rather than applying a thick layer broadly.
Even when covering blemishes, rubbing continuously with your fingers can reduce coverage, so it is best to lightly pat to ensure close adherence.
If you use powder last, please minimize the amount on areas prone to wrinkles.
You can achieve a clean complexion without layering your base makeup just by using a concealer effectively!
