Have you tried unbleached, non-fluorescent cotton pads?

It feels a bit like old-fashioned recycled paper.

Since it is unbleached and non-fluorescent, you can still see the cotton seeds and such, making it eco-friendly.

It doesn't fly around like cotton, and it doesn't tear.

It cleanses more thoroughly than I expected.
