Lightly dampen a sponge before base makeup to apply a thin layer of base for close adherence.
When I first applied cushion or foundation, I just used a dry puff, but
I was always worried because there were many days when my skin felt flaky or my pores looked prominent.
Especially on the cheeks and around the nose, I feel like makeup tends to cake and crease easily over time.
Overall, the skin finish didn't stay clean.
So these days, instead of using the puff as is,
I changed the method to lightly wetting it with water and squeezing out the excess water before using it.
The key is to keep the puff just moist, not too wet.
By doing this, the foundation spreads thinly on the skin, adhering naturally without going on thickly all at once.
In particular, it applies much more evenly to the sides of the nose and jawline than with a dry puff, so I definitely feel that creasing is reduced.
I used to have to touch up my makeup often, but since using this method, the staying power has improved significantly.
I am very satisfied because my skin doesn't look heavy or stuffy when taking photos, and the overall texture feels refined.
