Vitamin C that must be consumed consistently

Some of you might first think of collagen-rich foods like pork rinds or chicken feet. However, while our bodies absorb various nutrients, a deficiency in Vitamin C is said to cause wrinkles to form easily and lead to a loss of elasticity. That is why it is said that you need to consume Vitamin C consistently.

 

Many of the foods we consume daily contain ingredients beneficial to the skin. Among them, nutrients such as Vitamin C and collagen greatly help maintain skin elasticity, making consistent consumption effective for preventing skin aging. Representative examples include tomatoes, bell peppers, and pomegranates. In addition, polyphenols, which are antioxidants abundant in various fruits and vegetables, also offer excellent benefits for anti-aging and skin beauty.

Many people supplement their vitamin C intake by consuming fruits such as lemons and oranges. Both fruits are famous for being rich in vitamin C; oranges, in particular, are said to contain over 70mg of vitamin C per 100g. It is said that one would need to eat the equivalent of as many as six and a half oranges to consume more than the recommended daily allowance of 100mg.

In addition to lemons and oranges, grapefruit is another fruit rich in Vitamin C. One grapefruit contains about 80mg of Vitamin C, making it the undisputed leader among citrus fruits. Furthermore, it is low in calories, so I recommend it to those on a diet!
