Today, I’m going to introduce some new Daiso cosmetics and beauty tools that I genuinely bought and used!!!

Lately, people have even been asking if Daiso is a rival to Olive Young because so many brands are collaborating with them to release new products quickly. Above all, its defining feature is its incredibly affordable prices, right? So, while testing out various products, I found there were really so many new items I wanted to recommend ✨

 

However, Daiso's beauty tools are the real deal, so it would be a shame to only introduce cosmetics, right?! So, in addition to the new Daiso cosmetics, I’ve also brought along a beauty tool that I use so, so, so much~~🫶🏻

• Merzy Let's Fixing Slim Gel Eyeliner 03 Brown Quartz

 

Lately, I've been starting to get a little tired of the eyeliner I've been using. My eyes tend to look a bit plain, so I used to love using a brush-tip liner to clearly define my eye line. However, lately, I feel like I prefer using a pencil type to draw a natural line that blends well with my makeup, rather than drawing a line too strongly. So, after agonizing over it for over 30 minutes in the new products section at my local Daiso, I ended up choosing this product.

 

Since the Merzy eyeliner is a 'slim' type, I think it would be great for those who, like me, prefer drawing a thin line that follows their eye shape rather than a thick, obvious one. 💋 It gives the impression of a natural line added to blend seamlessly with your existing makeup, rather than an artificial and noticeable look.

 

The reason I was so surprised and bought this after my first test was the color payoff!! As soon as you lightly swipe your finger, the color comes out so intensely it feels like a huge weight has been lifted, so you don't need to feel frustrated wondering, "Is this really coming out...?" and have to reapply it multiple times! If you, like me, prefer a distinct line even with a pencil eyeliner, I think you'll love this, but if you think pencils should be light, you might find it a bit too dark.

 

One thing I noticed while using it is that the staying power was great! I applied this and went to a summer semester class on a cold day, and it was still there even when I got home. The staying power is good!! Even when I first tested it, I gently rubbed it with warm hands to check the durability, but it didn't come off easily, so it really is good haha.

I highly, highly recommend this daily eyeliner because the color suits both warm and cool undertones and goes well with any makeup look!!

You can buy an eyeliner of this quality for 3,000 won? Seriously, Daiso is the king of gods...

It’s here! One of my all-time favorite concealers that I can’t live without!! 💦 Ever since I first started writing posts about Daiso recommendations, I’ve wanted to recommend this product.

 

If you’ve looked into Daiso cosmetics because you’ve taken even the slightest interest in them, this is a famous product you’ve probably heard of at least once!! The Drop Be Concealer in Peach has become particularly popular through word of mouth among the concealers sold at Daiso 🤐

 

Since Unnie's Pouch is an anonymous community, let me be completely honest and make a confession... I don't sleep well at night, so I have dark circles that are as thick as a panda's ㅠㅠ But when I wear makeup, the people around me—my classmates, older friends, and everyone else—don't really know that I'm stressed about my dark circles! You could say that's all thanks to me using this product to cover them up so thoroughly...

Dark circles are such a major complex for me that I have bought and used products from famous brands like The* and Clinique multiple times. Of course, those brands' products were absolutely wonderful and definitely worth the money, worth buying and using repeatedly. However, the reason I have been buying Drop Be Concealer n times and stocking up on it lately is because I felt like I couldn't miss out on a concealer of this quality at this price.

A concealer that covers my dark circles for 3,000 won? I really... Out of all the Daiso cosmetics I looked up multiple times, I was particularly satisfied with this one, and the term "god-tier value for money" fits this product perfectly. 🫠

Since I have bluish dark circles, I need to cover them with a peach-toned concealer, so I purchased and used the peach shade from the Drop Be Concealer line. ♥ ♡  Please make sure to know that I am praising this not as a sponsored ad or anything like that, but because it is truly my holy grail concealer that I bought with my own money.

• Daiso Heart Makeup Spatula (Curved)

 

It would be a shame to just stop at recommending Daiso cosmetics, right?! So, I’ll wrap things up with some beauty tools that I use frequently!! While Daiso is known for many famous beauty tools like brushes, I’m going to recommend some lesser-known ones🤩

 

To be honest, way back in the day, I found applying base makeup a hassle, so I used to just use a cushion foundation and do touch-ups multiple times. But I started using foundation the year before last! ♥️ As expected, foundation allows for a beautiful skin finish exactly the way I want it to, and the staying power is great too. ㅠㅠ However, when I first bought and tried using foundation, I was disappointed because there was absolutely no content explaining where to dispense it, or whether to apply it directly to a puff or brush. 🥹 While I was mulling that over, I discovered this product at Daiso and decided to give it a try. It works perfectly for exactly the purpose I was looking for!!

 

Originally, this product is a spatula meant to be used as a substitute for a brush to apply foundation directly to the skin, but I use it as a plate to dispense the foundation initially! If you take just the right amount of foundation onto this plate, gently dab it onto a puff or brush, and then apply it to your skin, it is very hygienic and makes it easy to control the amount you use. 🫧

 

Of course! You don't have to use this product as a scooping plate like I do; it's perfectly fine to use it for its primary function as a spatula to apply foundation directly to the skin, just like a brush. Perhaps because of its heart shape, it fits the contours of our faces well, and it feels great for applying a thin layer compared to using a regular puff!

 

Expensive beauty tools are nice, but for beginners, affordable yet useful items with great value for money are what really matter! In that sense, I am completely satisfied to be using it this effectively for just 2,000 won 💸
