Olive Young Black Friday Purchases and Recommended or Not-Recommended Items
To be honest, I think the Olive Young sale period is a time that all makeup enthusiasts find hard to resist... (I'm not the only one, right..? lol)
Once again, I purchased some products I wanted to try during the sale and am now using them.
I am writing this to leave a review.
So, let's get started right now.
- Romand Sheer Pearl Powder 01 Glimy Veil
Actually, when this sheer pearl powder first came out, I really wanted to try it, but then it faded from my memory... until I suddenly remembered it during Black Friday and added it to my cart. Isn't it so pretty? It really looks great just sitting on my vanity haha. However, after receiving the delivery, I did notice a few broken ones... Personally, I wish they would package fragile products more carefully... Olive Young's packaging is often so sloppy.. (I'm someone who got burned when I bought WakeMake eyeshadow before..) Here is a shot of the three beads swatched. The color payoff isn't too intense, but that doesn't mean it's unsuitable for use as a highlighter. I've been using it as a highlighter instead of powder lately, and I reach for it often, so I want to try other colors! (Though I am worried about the packaging...) - Espoir Eye Core Palette No. 3 Vintage Mute
I was actually really into the Honey Oat shade from this Eye Core palette. However, when I looked at the Vintage Mute colors, I saw shades that are great for creating winged eyeliner, and most importantly... the glitter was just so pretty. Personally, I love glitter, and as an Autumn Mute, I knew all the colors would be great to use, so I decided to give it a try. I really love it because there isn't a single color I would want to throw away. Here are the swatches. The glitters are so pretty that I've been applying them to my lower lash line lately, and I am 100% satisfied. As someone who owns the most Espoir palettes at home, I find myself looking forward to every new one whenever one is released! - Bbia Ready to Wear Downy Cheek 02 Downy Peach
The third one is a blush from Bbia! I used to only use Chanel blushes, but I was captivated by everyone on YouTube saying how pretty Bbia blushes are, so I added this product to my cart... The color is so pretty, but it looks really soft and milky (to be honest, I didn't expect it to be this white-ish...). I've been dispensing it into my hand and applying it, but what is the best way to apply Bbia products? Please, those of you who know, let me know! ㅠㅠ Still, I'm satisfied because the color is pretty!
Today, I wrote about the products I bought at Olive Young during the Black Friday sale. I'm really curious to see what you all bought too!
Personally, my best item is the Espoir eyeshadow palette (I've been using it every day lately).
My worst item is the Bbia cheek blush.
Everyone, please be careful not to catch a cold in this chilly weather... And if anyone knows the Bbia blush well, please let me know some tips... haha
