๐๏ธ Recommended Items & Regret Items for the September Olive Young Sale ๐๏ธ
Hello Unpagings! It feels like the heat has subsided a little these days!
How is everyone doing? Thanks to the start of the new semester, Iโve been wearing makeup every day!
As a result, I started to take a lot more interest in makeup products!
So, taking advantage of the Olive Young sale in September, I bought a lot of things with my own money.
I succeeded and failed just as much... haha
So, among the products I purchased to protect your wallets
Iโm going to introduce you to Olive Youngโs recommended items and items youโll regret buying!
First up, my recommended items!
Took One by Genuine Magnetic Eyeshadow Palette - Cotton Salmon
I had decided to buy this product after seeing the teaser, and I purchased it as soon as the Olive Young sale started! I love it so much that I wanted to introduce it to you! The Took One by Genuine Magnetic Eyeshadow Palette is currently selling for 17,450 won for a 4-shade palette! First of all, I am amazed that Took eyeshadows are available in the 10,000 won range for four shades. The texture is truly amazing! It isn't as soft as I expected; it has a firm texture, making it easy to scrape out and control the amount of product. If you touch it, I would say it has a satin-like texture. Plus, the colors are really pretty!
I really loved the To C One by Genuine Magnetic Eyeshadow Palette in Cotton Salmon because it has many colors that are great for warm undertones. It has base, accent, contouring, and eyeliner colors all in one place. The second shade, Peach Whip, is excellent as a base, and I found the Salmon Shower shade to be particularly good for using as a blush. Although it is a salmon color, it has a subtle hint of pink on top, which is great for brightening up the complexion! Honestly, since most other eyeshadow palettes or mini palettes cost over 10,000 won, this To C One by Genuine Magnetic Eyeshadow Palette actually feels like great value for money! The texture is just so good to begin with... haha. I highly recommend it!
About Tone Skin Layer Fit Foundation 30ml - 19 Fair
If you have oily skin, I think you should give the About Tone Skin Layer Fit Foundation a try! Since I have combination skin that is oily to dehydrated, I prefer products that are matte and adhere well to the skin above all else. If you control the amount of this About Tone Skin Layer Fit Foundation properly, it adheres so tightly that it feels like you haven't applied anything at all. The coverage is quite good, and because it adheres so closely like a layer to the skin, I really loved that it didn't cake or cake. It also covers pores well, so applying powder only to the areas where the pores are visible was sufficient.
Plus, the About Tone Skin Layer Fit Foundation has a bright shade, so I think it would be perfect for those who prefer a lighter skin tone! I also tend to prefer a bright shade to match my neck color, but shade 19 came out looking almost like a 13-17, so it was very bright even for me! If you want a natural look, I recommend going down one shade or making sure to check the reviews before choosing!
The next one is a regret item ใ ใ ๐ญ
Minted Mouth Spray 10ml
This Minted Mouth Spray tastes absolutely awful ใ ใ ... I always make sure to use mouth spray when I can't brush my teeth outside or when I have to go somewhere right after a meal! I saw claims that Minted Mouth Spray is alcohol-free and effective for bad breath, so I decided to give it a try and bought it without hesitation! However, the problem wasn't that it actually removed bad breath; as soon as I sprayed it, it tasted like soap... or maybe like toothpaste diluted with water... ใ ใ It left a dry, unpleasant aftertaste, and it just tasted so bad that I stopped using it immediately ใ ใ If you are buying a mouth spray, I would recommend Rucipello or Dentiste over Minted Mouth Spray!
WakeMake Sheer Blurring Matte Stick
First off, the color of this WakeMake Sheer Blurring Matte Stick is pretty, and it applies with a soft, powdery texture! However, the problem is that this powderiness gets stuck in every single lip crease and dry skin flaking spot. It certainly wasn't a formula that soothed dry skin. While Colorgram or other blurring lipsticks these days feel like they take the flaking away and cover it up, this WakeMake Sheer Blurring Matte Stick just lies right on top of the flaking, as if saying, "I don't care." So it just floats on top of it. It also smudging a bit, and when I reapplied it... it clumped for me. On top of that, the case of the WakeMake Sheer Blurring Matte Stick was a real problem. Once you push it up, it absolutely won't come back down. You have to push it back in with your finger to get the product inside, and since it breaks easily, I don't recommend it. I regretted buying it a little.
So, Iโve shared the items I regret buying and the recommended items from Olive Young.
