Hair products for preventing hair loss

Are hair shampoos, conditioners, and treatments effective for preventing hair loss? I see many Unpa members suffering from hair loss in the posts, and I'm worried because I've been losing a lot of hair lately. Has anyone tried hair products for hair loss prevention and seen results?
