Summer Makeup Must-Haves Recommended by the Hardcore Matte Trio (About Tone Skin Layer Fit Cushion, Naming Fluffy Powder Blush)

Base finish, matte and glow

Which product do you all prefer?

 

I am a hardline matte.

I am someone who finds a glowy shine overwhelming.

I hate summer the most because my makeup falls apart easily 🥲

 

I have dehydrated skin, so when oil comes up

If the base breaks down... settles into pores or peels off even a little...

What more needs to be said... I was so embarrassed.

 

As a makeup enthusiast who spends over 15 minutes on base makeup alone

I thought I’d introduce some of my personal must-have makeup items for Summer 2025 :)

 

Before I introduce myself, my skin type is

Combination skin / Shade 22-23 / Autumn Mute :)

 

First, About Tone Skin Layer Fit Cushion - 23 Natural

 

 

I heard that About Tone is releasing a new cushion this time...

I ordered it online as soon as it was released...

 

Many new cushions have been released for the summer.

The About Tone Skin Layer Fit Cushion that caught my eye🖤

 

When I do base makeup

I tend to use foundation more often than cushion!

 

It is also easy to layer the foundation thinly.

The makeup lasted really well!

 

However, as busy modern people

You know how there are many times when you quickly whip up your makeup with a cushion...

 

I heard that the About Tone Skin Layer Fit Cushion is a cushion with staying power as good as foundation!

 

To put it simply

The pore coverage and staying power were the best among all the cushions I've used so far!

Even after 5-6 hours, there was no clogging in the pores, but there was some settling around the nose.

 

I think the coverage is about average compared to matte cushions!

The coverage isn't particularly high, but since the formula applies thinly, you can easily apply 2-3 layers to the areas you need to cover :)

 

 

The cushion puff is also a killer point...

I have large hands, so I didn't really like using cushion puffs.

Since it has an X-shaped band, it was comfortable to put on as it fit my finger.

Secondly, Naming Fluffy Powder Blush - Toast, Bagel

 

I want to apply blush over a matte base.

It's frustrating when creams or liquids strip off the base.

 

I love powder blush, and Naming is the place for subtle color payoff and amazing shades!

 

I initially bought the toast color, but

Just like the name suggests, it has a slightly baked look, making it a great color to use as a base!

 

It's a beige-brown color, and since it's not too dark, it gives off a sophisticated vibe.

 

I fell in love with the toast color, so I immediately bought the bagel color as well....

 

It's a completely toned-down peach brown color.

Baked peach itself..

 

It's not too flashy, so it goes well as a tone-on-tone when layered with toast colors.

I plan to spend this summer with the toast and bagel combination🔥

 

 

To show you both colors at the same time, it’s like this!

A great combination for creating a healthy and vibrant complexion in the summer.

 

I was worried that if the base was matte, it would look too dry, but

Applying just a little bit of blush gave me a healthy flush, so I was able to solve my problem a bit :)

 

It looks like this year's summer is going to be hotter and longer than last year.
