I rarely wear makeup except for special occasions, and I usually just apply sunscreen and finish with lipstick. That is why people ask me why I put on makeup even when I only wear lipstick. I feel like my skin tone looks a bit dull, but when I apply a lip color with a slightly reddish tint, my complexion looks much brighter. I mainly buy shades like salmon, peach, coral, and apricot, and occasionally I am satisfied with a dried rose shade.
