I've been using this product exclusively for daily wear without a base lip. Since it's a moisturizing lip product, the downside is that it doesn't last very long, but I keep using it because I love both the color and the shine. You need to apply it to the inner part of your lips and blend it outwards. If you apply it too far out, it goes beyond the lip line and looks messy.
